We are looking for a flexible part-time Dog Groomer to join our team.

About the role

 

This role is for 2-3 days a week.

​

Your responsibilities will include:

​

• Greeting and welcoming customers and their pets

• Advanced clipping and styling, trimming, and hand stripping

• Giving advice to customers on useful grooming techniques, correct grooming tools to use at home, nutritional advice etc

• General administration duties

About you

 

We are ideally looking for someone who will need minimal supervision, with a great eye for detail, extensive knowledge of dog breeds and standard cuts, and excellent customer skills.

​

The successful candidate will:

​

• Have a minimum of 1 year’s experience as a dog groomer in a grooming parlour

• Must have C&G level 3 qualification or equivalent

• Have a good knowledge of English

• Have a strong focus in customer service

• Be enthusiastic and willing to learn

• Be able to work and be part of a team

​

Salary will be dependant on experience and qualifications.

​

We are looking for a candidate with the right skill set, doesn’t get stressed with over-excited or badly behaved dogs, has a real passion for growing the business and has the potential to really grow with the company with a view to becoming full-time in the next 6 months.
